Step 3: Interview

Interviews can be completed with a volunteer at a local community centre in your area or over the phone. During your initial enquiry we will confirm your interview options given your location in Victoria.

During this interview, the volunteer will assist you in completing an application form and preparing a personal budget.

Step 3: Assessment

The loans committee will make an assessment of your application within 48 hours

Step 4: Approval

Once your loan is approved, Vinnies NILs will make payment on your behalf to the retailer with repayments automatically deducted from your Centrelink benefit each fortnight.

To help you stay in control of your finances, you can also increase your fortnightly repayment and pay off your loan early with no hidden costs or charges.
